Blueberry Avocado Protein Smoothie
Adding avocado to a protein shake is not only an amazing way to get in a serving of healthy fats but also gives the protein shake a more creamy consistency. While you can still drink this with a straw I usually blend it up and then pour it out into a bowl and eat it with a spoon as a smoothie bowl!
This Blueberry Avocado Protein Smoothie has been Scott’s breakfast almost every single day for the last three years. It packs 35 grams of protein with only 1 gram of sugar.
After you add avocado to your protein shake, you will never want to drink one without it again. Don’t worry, your protein shake doesn’t come out tasting like avocado. The avocado really doesn’t have any taste when used in a smoothie.
Choosing the right protein powder and ingredients:
We’ve been adding a VERY unexpected ingredient to our protein shakes, including this Blueberry Avocado Smoothie. This secret ingredient also doesn’t pass its taste into the protein shake but adds a serving of vegetables (yes, vegetables!) into each shake we make! Try it yourself, find out how to add this unexpected ingredient here.
