My Low Carb Healthy Ranch Dip Recipe is one of my all-time favorite dips. I can mix this up in minutes, serve with a variety of fresh veggies, and still stay on track with both a lower carb and clean eating diet. You will fall in love with this homemade dip and never buy a carton at the store again!
Low Carb Healthy Ranch Dip Recipe
This healthy, low-carb ranch dip will knock your socks off! It only takes 4 ingredients and a few minutes to make. Since it is so easy, I try to always keep the ingredients on hand. This means I can whip it up and add to my lunch with some carrots or broccoli.
If you are used to grabbing the bottle of ranch dressing in the condiment aisle, or even the prepared dip in the deli, this is going to change your idea of ranch dip. There is no comparison with a fresh dip like this one. It’s loaded with flavor and has none of that yucky aftertaste the preservatives give the ones you buy.
What Should I Use Ranch Dip With?
It’s perfect for vegetables, as a dressing on a salad, or to dip our Paleo Fried Pickle Spears in! It can really be used for whatever your heart desires. If you are hosting a party pair it with one of our vegetable wreath trays! I’ve spread it on sandwiches instead of mayonnaise, and even put on chicken breasts before breading and air frying them.
Add a little kick of flavor by making this into our Chipotle Ranch Dip. It’s a great way to spice up your snacking with little effort.
Pro-Tip: If you are looking for other ways to use your DIY Ranch Seasoning, our Clean Eating Taco Soup is a must-try! I’ve even served it with my Kickin’ Chicken Recipe as a dipping sauce.
How Long is Ranch Dip Good?
I prefer to eat this healthy ranch dip recipe within 5 days of making. While the ingredients would be safe for 1-2 weeks, I find the flavor is best in those first few days. When it sits for longer, some of the spices lose their punch of flavor. Fresh is always best with this healthy ranch dip recipe.
How Should I Store This Recipe?
When you make this dip, make sure to make and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can thin out the mixture as a salad dressing and store it in a bottle if you prefer. Just make sure it is truly airtight and sealed so it won’t spill out in your refrigerator.
Note: This recipe does not freeze well and should not be left out on the counter unrefrigerated.
Can I Make With a Store-Bought Ranch Seasoning?
You can easily use a ready-made ranch packet if you prefer, but it won’t truly be as healthy. Most ranch packets have a lot of preservatives and added milk powder. If you aren’t concerned about those, then feel free to substitute with a bit of a ready made packet instead of our homemade recipe.
