With each new year comes an opportunity to make it the best one yet. It’s a clean slate for you to work with and move forward in a brighter direction. Living a healthy lifestyle involves eating well, drinking well, treating yourself well, and moving. It truly is a total mind and body connection and transformation.
As you probably know by now, we love to drink juice. We enjoy making our own but we also love to try store-bought ones as well. Drinking green juice allows us to get in our vegetables (and fruit) in a very convenient way. We enjoy green juice almost every day of the week! However, we’ve discovered that many items marked as “juice” have ingredients that we don’t care for, including a ton of added sugar! Evolution Fresh is different.
We’ve tried Evolution Fresh delicious juices before and loved them so we were excited to partner on their “Take a Sip in a Brighter Direction” campaign. Evolution Fresh is cold-pressed juice with no artificial colors or flavors. By using cold-press they can help protect the taste and nutrients of the fruits and vegetables they bring into the juice, unlike many heat pasteurized juices on the market.
Just like small steps can lead to big changes, small sips can also lead you toward a healthier way of living. We were impressed with the ingredients in their juices, especially the Organic Greens & Kale juice. The ingredients are organic juices (celery, cucumber, spinach, romaine lettuce, kale, lemon, and parsley). There are only 25 calories (and only 4 grams of sugar!) per serving. Recently, while we were in Jackson Hole we tried also tried the Green Lemonade and DefenseUp flavors.
For us, the small choices we make every single like choosing the healthiest option when planning meals, getting enough sleep each night, and taking mental health breaks, really add up and give us the motivation we need to keep going! Living a healthy lifestyle shouldn’t be an “all or nothing” scenario. Even just the smallest healthy choice will make a big difference. For example, asking for your salad dressing on the side so you can control the amount or taking a walk during lunch or after dinner.
If I could share one thing with all of you it would be:
“Your body hears everything your mind says. Stay positive.”
There is no reason to talk down to yourself, it will not get you anywhere. Even if you haven’t been making the best choices for the last month, year, or even your entire life, you still have the opportunity to change that now. In order to truly change your life, you will have to change your mindset from a negative one to a positive one. Just remember to take it one day at a time, make the best choice you can with the options you are given, and be kind to yourself and others!
How will you “Take a Sip in a Brighter Direction” this year?
