Description
Cinnamon Vanilla Crockpot Applesauce is a perfect addition to your fall or winter slow cooker menu. It’s full of flavor and a clean eating favorite!

- 8 medium-sized granny smith apples, peeled (you can also make this with unpeeled apples)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2–3 Tbsp real maple syrup
Instructions
- Peel apples (an apple peeler comes in handy!) and cut into quarters (core the apples as well). Place in crockpot.
- Add all remaining ingredients and stir lightly (just enough to mix ingredients)
- Cook on low for 2 hrs
- Raise the temperature and cook on high for 1.5 hrs
- Stir, slightly mashing any remaining apple chunks
