Description

Cinnamon Vanilla Crockpot Applesauce is a perfect addition to your fall or winter slow cooker menu. It’s full of flavor and a clean eating favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 medium-sized granny smith apples, peeled (you can also make this with unpeeled apples)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 23 Tbsp real maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Peel apples (an apple peeler comes in handy!) and cut into quarters (core the apples as well). Place in crockpot.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients and stir lightly (just enough to mix ingredients)
  3. Cook on low for 2 hrs
  4. Raise the temperature and cook on high for 1.5 hrs
  5. Stir, slightly mashing any remaining apple chunks
