Tips to Make This Protein Shake
As with all of our protein shake recipes we recommend using a Vitamix blender, which is definitely a splurge purchase or Ninja blender, which is a budget-friendly purchase. We make our protein shakes and our juice recipes in our Vitamix but we do also have a smaller Ninja blender as well.
Look for Greek yogurt from certified grass-fed & pasture-raised cows if possible. It’s also important to buy yogurt from cows who have not been given growth stimulants, hormones, or antibiotics.
Also, don’t forget to add in your frozen squash and zucchini to make your shake creamy and get in a serving of vegetables (that you can’t even taste!).

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/4 tsp pure almond extract
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, stevia, etc)
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
