SPRING TRAIL MIX

Making fun and festive trail mix is something your kids will love to do and it’s a great way to get them in the kitchen. They will get excited to sit down and think about which ingredients they could mix together to create the perfect seasonal trail mix.

Ask them which ingredients they would use for spring or have them pick from the ideas we have included below. As long as you have sweet and salty you can’t go wrong.

Since this is a clean eating website ;-), we’ve included links to some “cleaner” candy and other traditional trail mix fillers. Enjoy!

IDEAS FOR YOUR TRAIL MIX INGREDIENTS

  • Pretzels
    • Sticks
    • Twists
  • Bunny Grahams (We personally think the honey is the best option for this mix but there are plenty of flavors to choose from!)
    • Honey
    • Snickerdoodle
    • Chocolate
    • Cheddar
    • Neapolitan
    • Birthday Cake
  • Chocolate Candy
    • UNREAL Dark Chocolate Peanut Gems
    • UNREAL Milk Chocolate Gems
    • UNREAL Dark Chocolate Crispy Quinoa Gems
  • Nuts
    • Honey Roasted Peanuts
    • Cashews
    • Skinny Dipped Almonds
  • Yogurt-Covered Candy
    • Raisins
    • Almonds
    • Cranberries
    • Pretzels

HOW TO STORE YOUR SPRING TRAIL MIX

You’ll want to store this trail mix in an air-tight container (like this plastic cookie jar but you could also use a glass cookie jar). This is such an easy recipe because you just add all of your ingredients to the container of your choice and gently mix it to ensure there is an even spread of the ingredients. There are NO dishes to clean!
