Omg, I’m laughing so hard!!
You post something nice and useful, and you’re getting a tongue lashing from people who don’t know measurements.
Just wanted to say, great idea!! Thank you!
Keep in mind the amounts on the right are not equivalents, they are HALVES. If you look closely, it shows 1 POINT 5 teaspoons being half of 1 TBSP which is correct. As a baker for nearly 30 years, I know all of the measurements and amounts are correct.
This is one of the most awesome useful graphics ever! Thank you for making this and sharing it!
As an avid baker that knows the difference between tsp & tbsp, the chart is correct. I frequently half recipes but previously had to rely on my own knowledge and math. There was only one error on the version/image I found on Pinterest, but they have fixed it. If you don’t agree with their conversions simply test it and determine the accuracy based on your findings.
Yes there are 12 tablespoons (tbsp) in 3/4 cup…half of that is 6 tbsp.
2 tbsp equals 1/8 cup which is half of 1/4 cup. But since not everyone has a 1/8 cup dry measuring cup or 1/8 line on their liquid measuring cup, 2 tbsp is an easier compromise.
Learn your equivalents folks!!

You should that list of halves into a refrigerator magnet and sell it…

Thank you so much for this. I have been baking for many many years, but sometimes I will forget the exact measurements divided or multiplied. So this will be an awesome paper for inside of my cabinet door. I’m going to laminate it first. Thanks so much once again from an old granny baker. Smile.
