Here’s a little personal story before we get to the workout…

I’m going to get a little bit personal for a minute. Have you ever heard of Hyperhidrosis? In layman’s terms, it’s excessive sweating. I won’t go into all the messy details but it’s something that I’ve suffered with since I was very, very young. When I say suffer, I mean you will never catch me in anything other than black workout pants and black or white tops only because you can’t see all the sweat in those colors. It’s not that I don’t want to wear cute colored workout clothes, it’s that I can’t. No matter what, I sweat and it isn’t pretty (yes, even when it’s not hot!).

Not only does this condition affect the color and type of clothes I can wear it also limits the type of detergents, deodorants, and other similar products that I can use. No matter what my gym clothes always smell sweaty. I can buy a completely new workout outfit, wear it one time, and it will smell like I’ve had it for five years. I’ve tried many different things: soaking clothes, washing them right away, spraying them with multiple products, all-natural detergents, and trying any and every detergent out there… but nothing worked. A brand-new pair of workout pants or tank top would still smell sweaty.

This condition isn’t pretty and it’s actually really embarrassing but that’s why we (but especially ME) were so excited to find out about Clorox Fabric Sanitizer. As you know, we only share products that we actually use and love and let me tell you, THIS is the only thing that has helped my smelly clothes. Whether or not you actually have a medical condition that makes you excessively sweat, we all sweat, especially when doing any type of physical activity. Clorox Fabric Sanitizer is specially formulated to kill 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria while sanitizing and eliminating tough odors that harbor in your clothes. It’s also bleach-free so it is safe on most washable colored items.

Not only does it actually work, but it’s also really easy to use with just three steps:

  1. Spray
  2. Wait 3 minutes
  3. Wash as usual

It gets even easier because the new Clorox Fabric Sanitizer is available with Walmart Grocery pickup!

You know we can’t talk about workouts and sweating without actually giving you a new workout! After this workout, you’ll definitely be able to test out the Clorox Fabric Sanitizer! 😉

Grab your jump rope and yoga mat (to use for planks) and get ready!

JUMP ROPE LADDER WORKOUT

For this ladder workout, you will decrease the number of jump rope repetitions while increasing the length of time you hold a plank.

This is a great workout finisher to do after your weight training or cardio session. This could also be done as your only workout on days when you just don’t have much time!

We love ladder workouts because they can be easily adjusted based on your fitness level. If regular jump rope is too easy for you, try to do side-to-side jumps or single-leg jumps. For planks, you can do regular planks, side planks, moving planks, plank jacks, etc. If you are unsure of the proper plank form, check out this post on How to Do a Plank and this one on 7 Plank Variations.

*As always, consult with your doctor before starting any workout.
