HEALTHY HAIR, SKIN, & NAILS SMOOTHIE

Over the years I’ve learned that good skin comes from within. Of course, a good skincare routine will make a significant and positive difference, but most acne/bad skin comes from imbalanced hormones and/or inflammation (think food sensitivities and allergies).

HOW THIS SMOOTHIE IMPROVES YOUR SKIN, HAIR, & NAILS

COLLAGEN

One of the best ways to improve your complexion is to add collagen to your diet. Collagen will improve your skin by plumping, firming, increasing moisture, and restoring elasticity and smoothness. In addition to benefiting your hair, skin, and nails, collagen will protect your joints and connective tissue as well as promote a healthy immune system.

GRAPES

The skin of red grapes contains Resveratrol which is an anti-inflammatory that is thought to slow the aging process. They also help with uneven skin tone and encourage strong hair/nail growth.

BLUEBERRIES

Blueberries also facilitate hair and nail growth as well as prevent hair from premature graying (sign me up!)!

CHIA SEEDS

Chia Seeds help get rid of toxins in the body and improve hydration giving your skin a radiant glow.

You don’t add any water or oat milk or anything? Seems like there wouldn’t be enough liquid and will be way too thick..

I updated the recipe, I can’t believe I left that out. Start with 1 cup of water and add more if necessary.
