Need an alternative for the sticky sweet treats usually found in Easter baskets? Fill their baskets with some of these Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas.

NON-CANDY EASTER BASKET IDEAS

With Easter around the corner, what images come to your mind? Furry bunnies, Spring flowers?

What about sugary marshmallow bunnies, jelly beans, and kids running around on a sugar high?

While treats in moderation is something we suggest here (especially for our younger clean eaters – after all, we want them to understand they don’t have to gorge themselves on an entire bag of candy), here are a few suggestions of some cute items to include in their baskets that just might take their mind off sugary fillings!

The best part is most of these items come with multiple in a pack so you can make more than one basket. If you don’t have more than one child, make an extra (or 2!) and donate them.

Your kids will also love these Hatching Chick Deviled Eggs, Scrambled Egg Bunnies, AND Bunny Face Pancakes!

Looking for easy ways to boil eggs to dye? We have three different methods for you to choose from:

  • How to Boil Eggs (stovetop – old school!)
  • Boil Eggs in the Oven
  • Boil Eggs in the Instant Pot

Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

Crayons – Crayons and coloring books… who wouldn’t want that in their Easter basket?!

Coloring Books

Play-Doh – Let them flex their creative muscles with Play-Doh.

Bubbles – You can’t see a bubble and not smile. Try it. 😉

Kids Jump Rope – Jump ropes are more like torture for us adults but they are fun for kids!

Sidewalk Chalk – Just like the Play-Doh, Sidewalk Chalk lets your child unleash their creativity with this in their Easter basket.

Additional suggestions left by our wonderful readers:

  • Books
  • Gum
  • Balls
  • Swimsuits

We love the swimsuit idea. You could even do a swimsuit and beach toys in a sand bucket!
