Need a good shrimp recipe? This just might become your go-to seafood recipe. These garlic-lime shrimp are AMAZING and aren’t cooked in butter! Grab so coconut oil and start to saute.

Shrimp is one of those foods that you may be a little leery to cook. You don’t want to waste the cost of the shrimp in case something goes wrong while you cook them, but you also can’t wait to eat them. No fear! Shrimp are really easy to cook and taste delicious!

Below is one of our favorite recipes. It’s low carb, low fat, and high protein!

Garlic-Lime Shrimp

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil, melted
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 TSP sea salt
  • 1/4 TSP black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Combine coconut oil and shrimp into a small bowl. Add sea salt, black pepper, garlic and lime and toss to thoroughly mix.
  2. Sautee shrimp over medium-high heat for approximately 2 minutes on each side until pink.
  3. Serve immediately.
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
