CHIA SEED PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BITES

Today was meal prep day and these Chia Seed Peanut Butter Protein Bites were on the list! They are the perfect snack since they are simple and you probably have all the ingredients on hand.

We make protein bites or homemade protein bars every week because they are cheaper than buying packaged protein bars, they have better ingredients, and are perfect for our busy family!

HOW TO STORE THESE PROTEIN BITES:

These should be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container and can be stored there for up to a week.

Chia Seed Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Description

These Chia Seed Peanut Butter Protein Bites only take five minutes and five ingredients!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 dates, pitted
  • 1 scoop (approximately 32 grams) vanilla protein powder
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Blend dates, peanut butter, and vanilla extract together for one minute (ensure there are no chunks of dates)
  2. Scoop the dough out of the blender and place in a medium-sized mixing bowl
  3. Stir in chia seeds and shape dough into bite-sized balls (makes approximately 15 bites). Place each ball in a container until you run out of dough.
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour before eating

Notes

These must be kept in the refrigerator. Refrigerate for up to one week.
