Make this Basil Vinaigrette so that you know exactly what’s in your salad dressing. It’s healthier than store-bought and even more delicious!

BASIL VINAIGRETTE

One of the healthiest recipes you can make in your kitchen is blending your own salad dressings and marinades. Most store-bought dressings use cheap/processed oils and have tons of added sugars, syrups, and other artificial ingredients. Blending a few ingredients together doesn’t take long and you’ll have complete control over what’s in your dressing.

We make this basil vinaigrette pretty often in the spring and summer. It’s vibrant, flavorful, and will complement almost any seasonal salad. It’s delicious drizzled over a cobb salad or tossed in a cold pasta & pea salad.

HOW TO MAKE THIS DRESSING

You can make this using a food processor or blender. We use our Ninja Blender because it came with different size attachments (cups). We use the smallest cup, add all ingredients and blend until combined and smooth. If using a food processor, you’ll add all ingredients and blend for 30 seconds to one minute until combined.

We store our homemade salad dressings and sauces in these Salad Dressing Shaker bottles. They are easy to pour and clean!
