IT’S OUR ANNIVERSARY! Our blog anniversary that is!
(We already celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary way back in 2017!)
The first post on He and She Eat Clean was published on September 7, 2011, but we didn’t join the blog (and therefore publish our first post) until January 10, 2012. So we are using this date as our anniversary. 😉
10-YEAR BLOG ANNIVERSARY
So many of you have recently reached out to us about starting a workout plan and getting back “on track” or starting step one for the first time ever… so why wait to share the good news with you?!
As you know, 2021 was a really tough year for us (along with most other people in the world too!). Our hearts are still broken over the loss of so much life and we are still so, so sad and our house is so empty without our Rambo. You have all been so kind to reach out with supportive messages, emails, and comments.
We want to say THANK YOU because without you here making our recipes, doing our workouts, and sharing your favorite articles we would not still be here today. Over the last 10 years, we’ve had the pleasure of sharing our healthy recipes, workouts, hiking trips, and many other random things with you! It has been an absolute joy and pleasure to be able to share all of the ups and downs, big and small events, and everything in between.
If you haven’t already, sign up for our email updates (we will never spam you!) so you don’t miss a new post, challenge, or sale!

Hi Whitney and Scott! So excited about your new hiking workout (and thank you for the discount code!). What is the difference between the hiking workout and the transformation workout? Is the hiking workout building or maintaining strength and stamina? Thanks!
Whitney Carlson says
Hi Catherine! Thank you for the kind words 🙂 and great question! You are correct, the hiking workout plan is about building and maintaining strength and stamina. It has a more concentrated focus on weight and cardio workouts that will improve your hiking ability instead of just being geared towards general fitness. The cardio is a lot more varied between straight cardio and HIIT, along with the time suggested for each session. The Trailblazer plan also consists of more circuit-style based workouts (weeks 8-12) than the Transformation. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
