This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gro-ables. All opinions are 100% mine.
So... Spring is right around the corner and it's time to start thinking about planting a garden - or even just a few potted plants (if you are short on space). Eating clean is so much easier when you have the foods and resources available to you, so growing your own plants only seems like a natural addition to adopting the lifestyle. If you are anything like me though, this can be challenging!
Here are a few of the problems I've encountered:
- I kind of don't have a green thumb - it might be somewhat grey or even black! Unfortunately, as much as I don't want to admit it, I've killed a Peace Lily - really??!? Yep!
- I have a rambunctious animal who has a tendency to dig - including digging up our yard.
- I'm not that savvy when it comes to gardening. I'm not sure of the proper time to plant, sunlight, depth or even what to plant for that matter!
Never fear! I've solved some of my problems! (Ok... maybe I didn't, but MiracleGro just might have.) Introducing Gro-ables by MiracleGro. They are little pods for all kinds of veggies - lettuces, tomatoes, beans, zucchini, cucumbers, herbs and more - even pumpkins and watermelons. All you do is pop them in your soil, water them and away you go (of course you have to keep taking care of them). MiracleGro even teamed up with a company called SproutIt(TM), a neat app that helps you track your plant's growth and helps you optimize your conditions for planting and maintaining the plant. How cool is that?

Jim and I will be planting this year for sure! Here's what we plan on planting:
- Romaine Lettuce
- Snap Peas
We may even try out this Veggie Skewers with Cilantro Pesto recipe that I found via the
Gro-ables website on the SproutIt Website. To make it clean, just substitute honey for the sugar!
Are you planning to plant this Spring? If so, what's on your list?
