We support you and we are so excited to hear about your accomplishments!

Here's what you told us last week:

  2. I joined a 90 day challenge with some other bloggers and we started on May 1st. I set a goal to lose 7 pounds this month and lost 8. I am feeling good, but feeling like I might be hitting that plateau moment where things are going to become a little harder. I am trying realllly hard so that I can meet June's goals. LOVE YOUR blog! I've gotten a lot of good tips on here, and am a regular visitor!!

  9. I was asked by a colleague to teach his grade 10-12 Physical Education class on Tuesday of this week. I put them through a workout that I would do that included HIIT, Tabata and core work. I was able to talk the students through it, push myself to get a good workout and also give them the opportunity to have one. When I was working out with the students I realized how far I have come after losing 80lbs and that I really am an athlete again! I am hoping to get more opportunities like this, especially to work with female students who need positive role models to show them it can be done! A few of these students said to me, "You do this every day?", my answer was, "No, this is usually done on one of my 'off' days"! Also had a few students ask me for the workout and any others I might have, and others ask me to teach a Bootcamp in the evenings that they could attend! It was an awesome and rewarding experience!

On a side note, I reached my goal weight as well this week!!! Now to put on MUSCLE!

    1. I LOVE this story! It's great when you can inspire younger individuals and it sounds like you have done just that! So happy for you and glad you are spreading the gift of health to your students.
Great job on your goal weight!! Don't get discouraged if it goes up a little once you start adding muscle - remember muscle weighs more than fat (and burns more calories too!).

  10. I had a man at my gym (to whom I've never spoken) point me out to his friend and say "You see her? She's the hardest working lady here." - Seriously, could not have been more proud! :)
I also decided to switch up my meal plan a bit - replacing (not so clean) protein powders with a chicken breast and a tillapia fillet - cleaning things up and going for a more wholesome approach.

    1. Chelsie, What a compliment!! I would be proud to!
That is an awesome idea to switch those not-so-clean powders with some sort of lean meat or fish. Good for you!
