This is what you told us last week...(well two weeks ago because we forgot to do it last week...oops)!

We motivate you on Mondays (or at least try to) & so now we want YOU to tell us what you did with that little extra bit of motivation.
Here is your platform to share what you are PROUD of this week. We will do this every Thursday so if you think of something during the week jot it down so that you can share it with us! (Or, just leave a comment on the post from the week before and we will make sure they make it on our board!) We know that a lot people react negatively to your new/changing lifestyle so we want you to BRAG here! Let us know what you are PROUD of! Your fellow readers can learn from your accomplishments!
So...what did you do this week that you are PROUD of? Did you drink all your water, keep your meals clean, hit the gym everyday you were supposed to, get your full amount of sleep, did you lift heavier...run faster or longer? Did you make a good grade on a paper? Did you get a promotion or get praised from your boss? It doesn't have to relate to clean eating or working out (but it can)...Whatever it is let us know! BRAG!
Be CONFIDENT & let us know what you did this week! It is perfectly fine to be PROUD of yourself! We will tell you ours here as well!

Mine is simple this week. I am delighted that I have stuck with this and am still alive! LOL I have made it to day 74 of Live Fit and can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am also thrilled that I now know that when I get off track a bit with the eating I can get right back on and it's all ok! I have worked hard, the results show and I am thrilled with how this has all gone.

DeleteNew here. Decided to give the clean eating regimen a shot and so I prepped all my meals and cooked plenty over the weekend. I'm proud to say I've stuck with it all week... haven't strayed from my homemade snacks & meals considering the plethora of free yummy snacks we have in our office!! I weighed myself a lil early this week and my scale says I've already dropped 2lbs - that's staying away from starchy carbs and taking in more veggies! There really is something to this meal prep and clean eating stuff! I think I like it! ;-)

DeleteI'm thrilled even with the little success I've had. I started one month ago eating clean, and have succeeded probably 70% of the time. On weeks like this when I have 3 potlucks within 36 hours, I went ahead and let myself indulge while preparing my healthy quinoa salad for everyone else to try (btw they always love it!) There are some days when I have to just pick up and keep on moving, even though I was bad yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI was already working out and lifting twice a week, but I added small frequent meals and 3-4 days of 30 min empty stomach cardio, and within the first week I lost 8 lbs and fit into bathing suits and jeans I couldn't wear the week before! It's true, the fat starts burning off! I can't tell you how good it felt to look in a fitting room mirror while trying on a bathing suit and thinking "my stomach looks good in this!" I don't need to lose weight and am already a very healthy person, but my husband and I were tired of being at the plateau where all your hard work is covered in an inch of fat. I know those abs are under there and I want to see them!

That is awesome! You are exactly right! You just have to pick yourself up & move on. The worst thing you can do is beat yourself up over your slip-ups.

On sunday, I pre portioned all my meals for the week. I followed through with my plans with eating healthier and exercising. The results are speaking for themselves. By the way, Whitney your pictures look phenomenal and congradulations to Tiffany on your new job at the gym in atlanta. If I was down south back home in florida, or even lived closer I would travel to come train with you at the gym!
